Three Eerie/Ghostly Images

Within the lesson we produced three ghostly images. For all of our images we downloaded at least two images for each image and combined them into a final Photoshop image.

The first image I produced was of the house and the ethereal man. To create this image I had to use the pen tool to cut out a man, and place him into the image. I changed him into a gray-scale colour and also changed the opacity to make him look ghostly, I also feathered the image of him to give him an eerie outline.


For my second image I produced an image in black and white. For this image I edited in an ethereal owl. The owl contains the only colour within the picture as I gave it red eyes to emphasize the eeriness in the picture. I used an owl as it is a forest scene, also owls are seen as having a intimidating look because of there naturally angry looking faces and there large faces.

For my final image I produced an image of a dragon seen in the distance of a lake/ocean. This is by far my most edited image as I changed the colour of the water to make it look better and I also made the image look mistier than it already was. The dragon was brought into the image by cutting it from an original image (which took a lot of time) and was placed in the background to make it look like it is standing in the distance.
